Tune-in tonight to American Idol at 8pm ET on FOX, available through Comcast Cable!

Last week’s American Idol was jammed packed with excitement. The final top three women gave it their all and in the end America had to say good-bye to Angie Miller. Angie and her fans seemed shocked by the elimination, but it was apparent for quite a while that Candice and Kree would be the ones in the final.

On a side note, it was nice to not to have to sit through another Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey fight, but their fragile truce may have come too late. The ratings are suffering, and it appears to be largely due to the fights between these two divas. Plus, Randy Jackson has announced that he is leaving the show next season. On top of that news, it is being said that neither of the judges will be asked to return for season 13. Idol does need overhauling if it is to compete with other top-rated singing shows.

On tonight’s show, the finalists are rumored to be singing three songs each. Jimmy Iovine will choose a song, Simon Fuller will select a Coronation single and the women will sing a Reprisal song which is being billed as “Favorite Performances.”

The song list for Candice Glover is said to be “Chasing Pavements” by Adele, “I (Who Have Nothing)” by Ben E. King and “I Am Beautiful.” Kree is set to perform “All Cried Out,” “Angel” by Sarah McLachlan and “Up To The Mountain (M.K.K. Song)” by Patty Griffin and Solomon Burke.

For Candice Glover to come out on top, she will have to rely on her strong and powerful voice to wow the voters, but since Candice is primarily a jazz singer and it is hard to say if America will give her the votes she will need to win.

Kree Harrison is authentic and has a strong voice as was well, but she has to keep up her energy and perform like she has never done before if she wants to truly compete with Candice.

Both of these women have the talent and ability to come out the winner and whoever wins or loses is almost certain to have a future in music.

Tune in to FOX at 8 PM tonight to see these two talented women give the performances of their lives in the finale.
